Clinical Data Manager, any country, Europe

Job summary

As an experienced Clinical Data Manager you will be expected to provide an oversight of outside vendors, ensure the DM activities are performed as per contract and timelines and be accountable for the quality of the project deliverables. Reporting to Associate Director Data Management, you will be a key member of the Data Management team company wide.
We are searching for an experienced, ambitious and energetic person, able to undertake challenges in the project, push forward development of the project and function well in the project team. The desired person shall be open to cross cultures communication and cooperation and shall be significantly independent in their performance.

Main Tasks of the Position

  • Performs eCRF Design and testing P
  • Performs Data Cleaning and Validation
  • Generates and prepares reports
  • Develops project-specific data management plans for data coding, data transfer, data imports, database locks, and workflow processes
  • Performs Quality Control of deliverables provided by the vendor
  • Provides system and data management procedures training to the stakeholders
  • Acts as a point of contact to the sponsor and the vendor, on a project-level basis
  • Attends project conference calls with other functional areas, to track the progress of the study

Required Qualifications, Experience, Competencies

  • University Degree is highly recommended
  • At least 4 years’ experience in Data Management at a CRO
  • Experience with EDC systems (Rave, Inform, Datatrak, Viedoc,…)
  • High level of spoken and written English
  • Team player
  • Good communications skills
  • Be able to lead DM work and work with other functional groups
