Project Finance Associate, Based in Sofia, Bulgaria

Job summary:

As a Project Finance Associate you will be expected to provide financial and administrative support in the study project by assisting in particular in budget preparation and revisions, clients contract management and filing invoice approval, timely invoice and expense reports
submission etc. Reporting to the Senior Project Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the company’s Financial Team. We are looking to hire a proactive and energetic team player, with strong work ethic who is committed to providing great support and services to the team. Moreover, the desired person will be opened to cross cultural communication and cooperation and will be significantly
independent in their performance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs booking of invoices, issuing of sales invoices, settlement of business trip expenses
  • Performs settlement of bank statements, trade liabilities and trade receivables
  • Prepares reports concerning intercompany transactions and analyzes discrepancies
  • Assists in controlling and accounting of pass-through costs
  • Assists in preparing of budgetary reports, forecasts, cash flow prognosis
  • Assists in monitoring company expenses
  • Assists in preparing profitability study of new projects and supervises financial aspects of current projects
  • Assists operational staff in financial project management of clinical projects
  • Assists in corporate documentations management
  • Assists in management of client relationship in the finance area
  • Assists in accounting and finance tasks and activities
  • Provides support in everyday duties of financial department
  • Assists in generating expenses and sales reports
  • Management of archiving documents
  • Other administrative tasks as required.

Required Qualifications, Experience, Competencies:

  • University degree in Finance or practical experience in Accounting
  • Job experience in Accounting or Finance is an advantage
  • Adept problem finding / solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities
  • Aptitude for handling and proofreading numerical data
  • Attention to details is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to independently manage daily tasks
  • Long term commitment to the job will be appreciated
  • Computer competency – Microsoft Office, in particular MS Excel
