Site Contract Lead, Europe
Job summary
The Site Contract Lead will assist the Contract Department Manager directly providing general administrative and contracts support, liaising as required with both internal and external stakeholders in the execution and document management of client and vendor contracts, including the review, migration, and cleanup of contractual data.
We are searching for a dynamic, ambitious and energetic person, able to undertake challenges in developing the Contracts Department. The desired person shall be open to cross cultures communication and cooperation, proactive and with a vision for contracting processes development in a CRO.
Main Tasks of the Position
- Managing site contracting process at all the stages
- In charge of coordinating local site contracts negotiations
- Act as regional expert on contracts, proposals and / or other designated processes and key interface for assigned customers, ensuring consistency in approach, metrics, and format
- Creating templates, drafts e.g., Confidentiality Agreements, Amendments, Clinical Trial Agreements, Service Agreements with medical centers
- Conducting negotiations process aimed at finalizing contracts
- Developing and implementing strategies and agenda prior to sites contract negotiations
- Creating budget split on site level
- Working closely with Legal, Regulatory and other departments in connection with ongoing projects
- Ensuring that site contract documentation, including ongoing tracking/progress reporting, is in compliance with Sponsor and Company requirements
- Participating in internal and external teleconferences/meetings (with Sponsors)
- Mentoring other staff members in the administration of contracts, negotiation techniques and strategies
Required Qualifications, Experience, Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience as a site contract specialist and lead
- Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles and legal terms and conditions
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills to balance working on multiple projects in parallel
- Strong planning, analytical skills
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Additional language a plus: German, Polish, French, Spanish, or others
